PetCellpen® facilitates the use of innovative cold atmospheric plasma technology in the veterinary clinic. PetCellpen® is wireless and has 5 interchangeable electrodes, designed for various applications in companion animals and horses. Cold Atmospheric Plasma is an innovative, professional and rational alternative, as well as a complement and potential substitute for conventional therapies.
The glass electrode is placed lightly in contact with the patient’s treatment area. Between them, an audible and visible plasma is generated in the dark. There is no need to shave or use any contact agent.
The frequency regulator (Impulse/s) allows the frequency to be adjusted from 20 to 100Hz. There is a special neuro-desensitization function at 10Hz which automatically modulates over the entire setting range of the device.
The amplitude regulator is used to switch the device on and off. Turning the knob determines the output power and thus the intensity of the therapy.
Available electrodes
General use. Targeted or extensive treatments. Particularly suitable for dermatology and wound management.
For intensive, localized treatment with deeper penetration depth. Ideal for small diameter cavity wounds, orthopaedics and neurodesensitization.
Multi-focal use. Mainly for muscular conditions in the back. For longer coats.
For larger areas. Gentler effect for more sensitive areas. Especially for dermatological conditions.
Intra-auricular use for the treatment of otitis externa. Can be used with perforated eardrum. Super resistant material with steel core.
