Applications

WOUND MANAGEMENT

Indications
  • Abrasions
  • Bites
  • Non-healing wounds
  • Burns
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Scars and keloids
  • Healing by second intention
  • Ulcerated tumours
Cold plasma demonstrates a number of effects that promote the healing process. Plasma treatment with the PetCellpen® accelerates and improves the quality of wound healing in all its phases. After a first treatment, a positive effect on wound regeneration can already be seen, even in wounds where the healing process had reached a standstill.

DERMATOLOGY

Indications
  • Abscesses
  • Hotspots
  • Furunculosis
  • Fistulas
  • Pyodermas
  • Trichophytosis
  • Otitis externa
  • Vasculopathies
PetCellpen® can be used as a stand-alone therapy and as an adjunctive treatment for various infectious skin diseases without generating resistance due to its broad-spectrum antimicrobial effect. Skin infections with multi-resistant microorganisms can be practically treated with the help of cold plasma. In multifactorial diseases, inflammation caused by allergic aetiopathogenesis is modulated, itching is reduced and healing is improved.

Musculoskeletal and NEUROMUSCULAR

Indications
  • Muscle tension and spasms
  • Myofascial pain
  • Arthritis, tendinitis
  • Strains
  • Spondylosis
  • Compressive spinal cord pathologies
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Limber tail syndrome
  • Myositis
  • Neuropathic pain
PetCellpen® modulates inflammation in acute ligament, muscle and tendon injuries that can resolve faster through direct cell stimulation and stimulation of blood flow. PetCellpen® also includes a special automatic function for desensitization. In chronic and degenerative diseases of the neuromuscular system, this form of therapy has anti-inflammatory and pain-inhibiting properties, making the application of CAP useful in cases of neuropathic pain and myositis.
